Top Trips

New Zealand has amazing opportunities for kayaking and we, at the New Zealand Kayak Magazine, would like to be able to share more of these trips with our readers.  If you have a favourite trip that you would like to share please click here to go to a Trip Card template.  Complete and send it to [email protected] along with a photo or two and James will produce a Trip Card so everyone can check it out too. You will notice on the template we ask for people to also complete a short resume of your kayaking history, readers will find this useful to allow them to know if the trip you have done with your skills and abilities would suit their skills too.

These Trip Cards will be added to as new information is supplied by readers, as it is our intention to keep the Trip Cards as accurate as possible.

Cheers and thanks for supporting kayaking in New Zealand.

About Us

The New Zealand Kayak Magazine began in the mid nineties while we were rushing around arranging the monthly newsletter for the Yakity Yak Kayak Club members and Canoe & Kayak customers. The newsletter kept people involved in the sport, up to date with what had happened and what was planned. Read more...
